Chicken skewers marinated in beer and honey
The kebab turns out to be very fragrant and all thanks to the marinade, in which beer and honey are incredibly well combined. This marinade is especially good with chicken meat. For a fillet, two hours is enough, and the legs can be left in the marinade for a day.
Ingredients
Servings 6- 4 large chicken breast fillets
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3/4 glass of beer
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup runny honey
- 1 tsp dried chili flakes
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Art. l. olive oil
- cilantro for serving
Cooking
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into 3 cm pieces.
Step 2
Peel and chop the garlic. In a bowl, mix honey, mustard, olive oil and soy sauce, add chili flakes, garlic and pour in beer. Stir in the marinade.
Step 3
Pour chicken fillet with marinade, mix. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4
Soak wooden skewers in water 1 hour before frying so they don't burn and the meat comes off more easily. Ignite the coals so that they are covered with white ash or heat a grill pan. Thread fillet onto skewers; save marinade.
Step 5
Grill the fillets over the coals, turning the skewers every 2 minutes. and lubricating the meat with the remaining marinade with a long brush. Taste the fillet after 7-8 minutes, it should be completely cooked. On a grill pan, skewers will fry faster, 5-6 minutes.
Step 6
Sprinkle the meat with cilantro and serve immediately.
