Ingredients: 1.5 cups flour; 3/4 cup sugar; 100 g butter; 3-4 eggs; 1/2 cup milk; 3-4 century l. poppy; zest of 1/2 lemon; 2 tsp baking powder; powdered sugar for serving

How to cook Poppy cupcakes

Step 1

Beat butter with sugar. Continuing to beat, add the yolks, grated lemon zest, one at a time.

Step 2

Sift flour with baking powder. Alternately add flour, poppy seeds and milk to the egg-butter mixture, knead each time until smooth.

Step 3

Separately beat egg whites into foam. Gradually add them to the dough.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 180'C. Put the dough into greased molds and bake for about 40 minutes. Cool the finished cupcakes, remove from the molds and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
