Description

There is nothing better than grandma's pancakes - hot, fluffy, golden. Their main ingredient is grandmother's love, it is impossible to repeat their taste. But you can learn how to cook similar ones.

Cooking

Step 1

Heat the milk until it is warm, but not hot, about 36°C. In a small bowl, grind yeast with 2 tbsp. l. milk to a smooth paste. Add 1-2 more tbsp. l. milk. Sift flour into a large bowl, add salt and sugar. Gradually pour in the milk and add the yeast, knead a smooth dough. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave in a warm place for 30-40 minutes until the dough starts to increase in size.

Step 2

Melt butter and cool slightly. Lightly beat the eggs. Add eggs and oil to the batter and mix well. Cover the bowl again with cling film and leave the dough to rise for 40-60 minutes. When the dough is ready, mix it and leave for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Heat up a frying pan, brush with vegetable oil. Spread the dough on the pan 1 tbsp. l. at a distance from each other and bake the pancakes on a fire slightly below medium on both sides. Transfer the finished pancakes to a warm, preferably ceramic, dish and keep warm. Serve pancakes hot, with sour cream, jam or honey.
