Step 1

In order to make such a gingerbread bell, you will need cuttings for making gingerbread. I used a Tescoma die cut set to make a Christmas bell. If there is no such set, then it is necessary to select round cuttings with a diameter of: 1 cm, 2.5 cm, 3.8 cm, 5 cm, 6 cm, 6.7 cm, 8.5 cm, as well as cutting "sheet" about 6 by 8 cm in size. Satin ribbon 1 cm wide and about 1 m long. Confectionery glaze, sugar pencils, decorative sprinkles, etc. for decorating bells.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. In a mixer bowl, mix soft butter and sugar (both white and brown can be used), beat with a mixer until smooth. Add an egg, pour in honey and add all the spices and soda. Mix with a mixer until smooth. Pour in the sifted flour in batches. First mix with a mixer, and then with a spatula. At the end, already knead with your hands, the dough is very pleasant, does not stick to your hands.

Step 3

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Step 4

Cut off half of the dough (return the other half to the refrigerator), roll out to a thickness of about 4 mm.

Step 5

Prepare the future elements of the bell with cuttings: 1 circle with a diameter of 8.5 cm, 1 circle 6.7 cm, 1 circle 6 cm, 3 circles 5 cm, 1 circle 3.8 cm and 1 circle 2.5 cm. Exactly in the middle of each circle with a cutting with a diameter of 1 cm, make a through hole. Also prepare two sheets, at the end of which also make a hole with a punch with a diameter of 1 cm.

Step 6

Transfer the prepared bell elements to a baking sheet covered with baking paper and bake at 180 degrees for 12-13 minutes. Gingerbread cookies should be golden.

Step 7

Let the finished gingerbread cookies cool completely before decorating.

Step 8

Decorate the ginger bell elements as desired: icing, chocolate, sugar pencils and all kinds of confectionery toppings. Let dry.

Step 9

We collect the bell. A circle with a diameter of 2.5 cm is the "tongue" of the bell. We put a tape on it. Next, we thread both ends of the tape into the "rings" of the bell, starting with the ring of the largest diameter. At the end, add “leaves” and beautifully tie the ribbon into a bow. The bell is ready!
