How to cook Easter cake "Orange"

Step 1

Dilute the yeast in a small amount of warm milk, add a little sugar and leave the flour for 10-20 minutes. Yeast should “come to life” and rise with a “cap”

Sift flour into a bowl, add the remaining milk and add diluted yeast. To stir thoroughly. Cover and put in a warm place for 30-40 minutes

Step 3

While the dough is rising, separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with sugar and the whites with a pinch of salt.

Peel the orange and squeeze out the juice

Step 5

When the dough comes up, add the beaten yolks. Melt the butter or remove it in advance so that it becomes soft. Add to dough. Then add egg whites and knead the dough thoroughly. Knead until the dough is no longer sticky to your hands.

Step 6

Cover the dough with a towel, leave for 1.5 hours. After increasing the dough by 2 times, knead, put raisins, orange zest, candied oranges and let rise a little

Step 7

Put in the form for 1/3. When the dough comes flush with the edges of the form, put the cake in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees until done. Approximately 50 min. Readiness can be checked with a wooden stick

Step 8

Cool the Easter cake and soak in the juice of 1 orange with the addition of liquor and cinnamon

Step 9

Icing: Grind one protein with powdered sugar, add lemon juice and mix. Grease the finished cooled cake with icing and decorate as you wish.
