Curd pie with apples
This cottage cheese pie with apples is very special, as you can easily see if you just read the recipe below. The thing is that stuffed apples are used for the filling! The dough is prepared very simply: from butter, flour, sugar and cottage cheese. It turns out a very tender, slightly moist base, which is ideally combined with sweet and sour baked apples. Please note that such a curd pie should be cooked three hours before serving, so that it has time to cool a little: it will be tastier.
How to cook Curd pie with apples
Step 1

Prepare the cheesecake dough. Beat soft butter with sugar, add cottage cheese, mix. Pour the flour sifted together with the baking powder and vanilla sugar, knead the dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for half an hour.
Step 2

Wash the apples for the filling of the curd pie, peel, remove the seed box, cut into halves. Place the filling in the center of each apple. For the filling, I crushed the chocolate and mixed it with the peeled walnuts.
Step 3

Divide the dough into two parts, roll out one of them and put on a baking sheet so that small sides form. Put the halves of apples on the dough with the filling down, sprinkle the apples with cinnamon, if the apples are very sour, sprinkle with sugar. The size of my form is 28 cm.
Step 4

Roll out the second part of the cottage cheese pie dough and put on apples. Pinch the edges, grease the top with yolk. Bake a cottage cheese pie with apples for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 5

Allow the apple pie to cool slightly, then transfer to a plate. Serve warm. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar mixed with ground cinnamon.
Step 6

The apples in the filling become soft, like thick jam, so they are ideally combined with crispy curd dough. The pie can be topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
