How to cook Chicken basturma
Step 1
Chicken breasts need to be washed and divided into half-breasts. Pour water into a container, add salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. Put the chicken breasts in the marinade, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Step 2
The next day, the meat must be pulled out of the marinade, rinsed well under running water and dried with a napkin. Prepare the glaze with honey, olive oil, soy sauce, paprika, pepper and garlic. Grease the breasts well with glaze and leave to marinate for 2-3 hours.
Step 3
Roll the breasts into rolls, tie tightly with a thread and refrigerate overnight. Heat the oven to 160 degrees. You can bake in the form or on a baking sheet covered with foil. Put the meat in the oven for 1 hour. After 40 minutes from the start of baking, increase the temperature to 180 degrees, remove the meat from the oven and grease it with the accumulated juice. Then remove the cooked meat from the oven, let it cool.
