Cherry soup with red wine

Step 1

Wash cherries, pat dry and remove pits. Melt half of the butter in a saucepan. Add flour. Cook, stirring, over low heat for 2 minutes. Continuing to stir, pour in 750 ml of warm water, wine and kirsch. When the mixture becomes homogeneous, add cherries and sugar to taste. Warm up 2-3 minutes. on low fire. Brush the bread with the remaining oil, brown in a frying pan and cut into small croutons, place them on deep plates and pour over the cherry soup. Serve before dessert.

4 slices white bread
flour - 1 tbsp.
1–3 Art. l. Sahara
600 g cherries
200 ml dry red wine
200 ml Kirsch vodka
butter - 50 g
