Viennese waffles with strawberry jam, whipped cream and sundae
Ingredients
Servings 4- 250 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 125 g sugar
- 60 g butter
- 1/6 h. l. year
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp baking powder
- vanilla on the tip of a knife
- 4.5 art. l. strawberry jam
- 300 ml cream 33-35% fat
- powdered sugar for sprinkling
- 160 g of fillings
- 1 st. l. sugar for cream
Cooking
Step 1
Beat eggs with salt, add sugar and beat until sugar dissolves. Add milk and stir.
Step 2
Melt the butter and pour into the milk-egg mixture. Add vanillin and soda slaked with lemon juice to the dough. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and knead the dough.
Step 3
Let the dough stand for 20 minutes and bake in a preheated waffle iron.
Step 4
Cool the cream and beat with sugar until light, at the last stage of whipping, add 2 tsp to the cream. strawberry jam.
Step 5
For decoration, top the bottom wafer with strawberry jam to fill in the squares. Top with a layer of whipped cream. Cover with second waffle. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar and put a ball of ice cream. Serve immediately.
