Strudel with raisins

The name "strudel" comes from German and means "whirlwind, funnel, vortex". And for good reason! The sheet dough for its preparation is rolled into a roll, inside which the filling is placed. There are hundreds of options for serving strudel, the variability of fillings makes it a real find for gourmets. There are recipes for strudel with chocolate, wild berries, nuts, bananas, pineapple, cottage cheese and cranberries, meat, mushrooms, onions, seafood and potatoes. Here is a recipe for strudel with raisins.
How to cook Strudel with raisins
Step 1

Knead the dough. Mix butter, sugar, egg, soda and kefir. Gradually add flour to the dough. Knead until the dough becomes soft and tender.
Step 2

Prepare the strudel. Roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 0.5 cm. Grease the dough with apple jam. Put raisins on top. Roll the dough into a roll. Cut the roll into portions 5 cm wide.
Step 3

Bake the strudel. Place the resulting rolls on a baking sheet. Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
