Figs with honey

One of the options for this dessert is figs in wine - a simple and very tasty dish. Dried figs should be soaked for 3 hours in red wine, and then put in an oven preheated to 150ºС for 1.5 hours.

Ingredients

Servings 4 servings
  • orange - 2 pcs.
  • 100 g of honey
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
  • 8 figs
  • natural yogurt to taste
  • For the filling:
  • 30 g shelled walnuts
  • honey - 1 tbsp.
  • ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp

Cooking

Step 1

1. Remove the zest from half an orange with a thin ribbon, cut it into strips. Squeeze juice from 2 oranges. Mix honey, vanilla sugar and juice in a saucepan, add zest. Put on a slow fire and cook until the honey dissolves. 2. Add figs to the saucepan and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from fire, let cool. 3. Preheat the oven to 160ºС. Mix the filling ingredients. Cut the figs on top into 4 parts, open slightly and put the filling inside. Put the figs in a mold and bake for 2 minutes. Boil the remaining syrup until thick. Serve figs hot with syrup and yogurt.
