Creamy charlotte
August. Apples. Charlotte. An update to my childhood favorite apple pie.
Ingredients
Servings 8- flour 200 g
- butter 90 g
- sour cream 350 g
- chicken egg 2 pcs.
- baking powder 1.5 tsp
- salt 1 pinch
- apple 2 pcs.
- 15 currants
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- nutmeg 1 pinch
- granulated sugar 180 g
Cooking
Step 1
Mix all dry ingredients well except sugar.
Step 2
Beat butter with sugar, then add one egg and sour cream one at a time.
Step 3
Add flour mixture in batches. Mix well.
Step 4
In the form, make a French shirt (butter and sprinkle with flour), distribute the dough evenly.
Step 5
Peel the apples, cut into slices and spread on the dough. Press blackcurrants in between.
Step 6
Sprinkle apples lightly with cinnamon sugar. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce to 170 and bake until cooked (20-30 minutes).
