Sand cake with berries
A wonderful shortbread pie with berries will be a great addition to the evening at the summerhouse, and on a cold winter evening it will remind you of a sunny summer.
How to cook Sand cake with berries
Step 1
Sift flour with sugar (2 tablespoons) and salt, add butter (100 g pre-cut into cubes), the yolk and begin to grind, then add cold water and continue to mix, form a ball from the resulting dough, place in the refrigerator. After half an hour, we take it out, put it in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes. at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.
Step 2
Prepare the cream (I like butter cream, but for those who follow the figure, you can lighten it a little, for example, with gelatin): Heat 100 g of cream over low heat with butter (50 g) until the butter dissolves. Pour into a bowl and let cool to room temperature. Whip the remaining cream with sugar (1 tbsp white and 1 tsp vanilla) to a soft peak, pour in the butter mixture at low speed and beat to a hard peak.
Step 3
Final step: collecting the pie. We spread the cream on the cooled cake and decorate the cake with berries: you can use one type of berries, you can use two, you can use three ... here you are absolutely free. Some of my berries were frozen (black and red currants - by the way, they give a very pleasant sourness) and strawberries.
