Step 1

Peel horseradish, grate on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Add honey to horseradish and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Transfer the horseradish and honey mixture to a clean bottle. Pour in a small amount of vodka and shake vigorously. Top up with the rest of the vodka. Close the bottle and let it brew for 2-3 days, then strain the tincture. For a milder taste, add 1-1.5 tbsp. lemon juice.
