Coffee Latte at home
Making delicious latte coffee at home is not difficult if you know and follow some rules. And the most important of them is to remember that the basis of the drink is milk! There are no clear proportions for preparation, however, the amount of this main ingredient should be at least twice the volume of coffee. And sometimes this figure rises to tenfold! Interestingly, initially latte was prepared by simply combining coffee and milk in its usual form, and only then they began to froth the latter, as is the case with cappuccino. True, for such a drink, the foam should be much more lush and thick. As for latte coffee, only slightly foamed milk will be enough, so at home you can beat it even with just a whisk.
How to cook Coffee Latte at home
Step 1
Prepare coffee for latte. Ideally, this should be espresso, but you can use just strong coffee, for example, oriental or brewed in a geyser coffee maker. Toast the beans in a dry frying pan until fragrant.
Step 2
Pour the cooled coffee beans into the grinder and literally grind them into dust. Periodically open the appliance and check the degree of grinding to ensure that you achieve the perfect condition.
Step 3
Prepare coffee in a coffee machine, a geyser coffee maker or a regular cezve. In the latter case, fill the coffee with cold water, add sugar and bring to a boil over low heat.
Step 4
While coffee is being brewed in one way or another, prepare the milk. Heat it up to 60°C and pour into a small container. Lather in any way, for example, with an immersion blender.
Step 5
Preheat a large cup or a clear, heat-resistant glass for hot drinks. To do this, pour boiling water over the container and then dry it with a clean towel.
Step 6
Pour freshly frothed milk into a cup or glass, followed by hot coffee. Taste and, if necessary, sweeten more to taste. Serve immediately.
