Presidential Texas Grilled Catfish
Ingredients
Servings 4-6 servings- 2 cups cornmeal
- For the lezon:
- 2 h. l. year
- 0.25 cup wheat flour
- fine sea salt
- egg - 1 pc
- 0.25 tsp each onion and garlic powder
- 1 som weighing 1.5–2 kg.
- milk
- 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 0.5 tsp crushed white pepper.
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
- For breading
Cooking
Step 1
Cut the cleaned and washed catfish carcass into fillets without skin, cut into slices the size of a matchbox, only a little thinner. From milk, eggs, salt and white pepper, prepare a lezon. Mix all the ingredients for the breading. Dip the fish slices in the ice cream, then roll in breadcrumbs and deep-fry until done.
