Lentil soup with smoked ribs
Ingredients
Servings 8–10- 500 g smoked pork ribs
- 400 g tomatoes
- 150 g lentils (I use yellow ones)
- 2 potatoes
- 1 bulb
- 1 carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 h. l. peppers
- 2 tbsp. l. cilantro
- salt
- 2 Art. l. parsley
- black pepper
Cooking
Step 1
Chop onion, garlic. Grate carrots. Peel the tomatoes and grind in a blender.
Step 2
Saute onions, garlic and carrots. Add tomato puree and simmer for 7 minutes. Add paprika.
Step 3
Boil the meat in 2 liters. water. Salt. Put the lentils in the broth and cook for 15 minutes. on low fire.
Step 4
Add diced potatoes, 10 min.
Step 5
Add vegetables, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes. Put greens.
