Green salad with red mullet

This green salad is good in winter and summer: in summer it is light and fresh due to citrus fruits, and in winter it improves mood and saturates the body with essential vitamins. The salad is easy to prepare, the difficulty lies only in the processing of red mullet, as there are many small bones in the fish. But the result is worth it.

Ingredients

  • pomegranate - 2 pcs.
  • olive oil - 150 g
  • a mixture of salad greens - 60 g
  • red mullet fillet - 4
  • pure grapefruit segments - 6
  • pure orange segments - 6
  • cucumber - 50 g
  • pomegranate sauce or ready-made sauce "Narsharab" - 40 g
  • salt - to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste

Cooking

Step 1

Prepare the pomegranate sauce. Squeeze the juice from the pomegranates, pour into a saucepan, put on medium heat. Evaporate the juice until it thickens. Cool and stir in olive oil.

Step 2

Red mullet fillet quickly fry on both sides. Keep in a warm place.

Step 3

Cut the cucumber into thin strips with a paring knife. Mix lettuce leaves with segments of grapefruit and orange, season with sauce, put on a plate. Garnish the salad with cucumber ribbons and red mullet fillet.
