Cooking
Step 1
Prepare the dough for kefir flatbreads with ham. To do this, pour the kefir into a large container and add soda. Stir and leave aside for 15 minutes to dissolve the soda. Then add salt and sugar. Stir again.
Step 2
Pour half of the flour into the kefir. Stir the mixture until smooth. Add the cheese. Stir. Pour in the remaining flour. Stir the mixture with a spoon until the dough becomes thick.
Step 3
Knead the dough for about 5-6 minutes. Cover the dough with a towel and leave it at room temperature for half an hour.
Step 4
Form the flatbreads. To do this, cut the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball with your palms. Roll the layers with a rolling pin directly on a table sprinkled with flour. Place a quarter of the ham in the center of each layer. Fix the edges of the flatbread by lifting the dough up to the center. Smooth it out with your hand and roll it out with a rolling pin. The thickness is about 5 mm. This should be done carefully.
Step 5
Fry the flatbreads. Place the frying pan on medium heat and pour in vegetable oil. Put the flatbreads in and fry until golden brown for 3 minutes on both sides. That's it, the cheese flatbreads in the frying pan are ready.
