Chicken in sesame

Tender chicken fillet in batter, poured with sweet and sour sauce, and on top - roasted sesame seeds - one of the dishes of Chinese cuisine.

Ingredients

Servings 6
  • for 6 small chicken fillets (i.e. 3 breasts)
  • 2 tbsp. l. roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions (optional)
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 0.5 st. flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 st. cold water (or how much it will take so that the batter is not too thick)
  • 3 art. l. cornstarch
  • salt to taste
  • 1 st. l. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp dry chicken broth
  • a quarter tsp salt
  • half tsp sesame oil
  • ground white pepper
  • a quarter tsp Sahara
  • 1 Art. l. any fruit wine
  • 2 Art. l. Sahara
  • 3 st. l. Teddy bear
  • salt to taste
  • 2 Art. l. ketchup
  • 1 tsp wine vinegar
  • black pepper

Cooking

Step 1

Mix all ingredients for the marinade. Cut the fillet into pieces and mix with the marinade. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Mix all batter ingredients. Add water to this consistency.

Step 3

Heat up fryer. Dip marinated chicken pieces in batter and fry until golden brown (do not overdry).

Step 4

Place on paper towel to absorb excess oil. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and heat over low heat, stirring until lightly thickened.

Step 5

We put the chicken in a saucepan, pour over the sauce and shake or stir well - the sauce should be evenly distributed over the surface. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
