Broccoli and Tomato Salad "Breath of Spring"

This salad is made quickly and simply, and the result is, in my opinion, very sincere. Well, the fact that it is very useful, you probably already guessed it. I recently read that this combination (tomatoes and broccoli) is incredibly beneficial for the body. British scientists won't let me lie And to make this combination tasty, I flavored it with herbs, soy sauce and pumpkin seed oil.

Ingredients

Servings 2
  • broccoli - small fork
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • fresh thyme - to taste
  • sesame seeds or sunflower seeds, for garnish
  • soy sauce - to taste
  • pumpkin seed oil - to taste

Cooking

Step 1

Wash broccoli, tomatoes and rinse thyme.

Step 2

Steam broccoli until al dente, or to your taste. I usually use a double boiler in a slow cooker. After cooking, broccoli can be doused with ice water to preserve color (optional). Cool the broccoli and separate into florets.

Step 3

Cut tomatoes into half rings.

Step 4

Combine with broccoli. Sprinkle with thyme leaves. To mix everything.

Step 5

Season with soy sauce and pumpkin seed oil (if there is no soy sauce, you can use balsamic, but then do not forget to salt the salad). Decorate with sesame seeds or sunflower seeds on top (they also fit perfectly here).

Step 6

Even if you don’t really like broccoli, there is a chance that you will not remain indifferent to this particular salad. Try it!
