Unusual salad of melon, onion and green pepper
Description
For some, this combination of products will seem too bold - after all, most often, melon salad is served as a fruit dessert. But, I assure you, the salty version is also very tasty. Sweet and sour, bright, unusual and very pleasant taste of this salad will not leave anyone indifferent! If you like experiments, I definitely recommend trying it!
Cooking
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients and pickle the onion. To do this, peel the onion, cut into thin half rings, add 1/3 tsp. salt, lemon juice, mix and leave for 1 hour (or use ready-made, made in advance).
Step 2
Peel the melon from seeds and skins, cut into thin ribbons with a vegetable peeler.
Step 3
Peel the green pepper and cut into half rings. Gently mix the melon ribbons, peppers and pickled onions, season the salad with salt.
Step 4
Put the salad in suitable glasses, garnish with freshly ground black and/or pink pepper, green onions, lettuce and serve. Enjoy your meal!
