Potato Cake with Cocoa

Cake made of cocoa and condensed milk - a familiar taste from childhood. There is no correct recipe for "Kartoshka" made of cookies and cocoa, but traditionally the ingredients also include condensed milk and butter. In "Kartoshka" made of condensed milk and cocoa, nuts, coconut flakes, cognac, cinnamon, vanilla are added. The first mentions of the dessert are found in books from the 18th century, when "Kartoshka" was baked. Now the ingredients are simply mixed together. Homemade "Kartoshka" made of cocoa always turns out tasty and sweet. It is easy and quick to prepare!
How to cook Potato Cake with Cocoa
Step 1

Place soft butter and condensed milk in a bowl. Using a fork, whisk or blender, mix them until creamy.
Step 2

Add cookies to the resulting mass. To do this, pour cookie crumbs and 2 tbsp cocoa into the butter cream. Mix the ingredients with a fork until completely smooth. The dough should be thick enough to mold.
Step 3

Shape the dough into an oblong cake. Sprinkle cocoa powder on a plate and roll the cakes in cocoa on all sides, lay them out on parchment and put them in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours. The butter should cool well and harden, this will make the cakes harder.
