Dried fruit bars

A great option for a healthy snack on the run. Prepare the bars in advance, and then just remember to put them in your bag when you go to work. This amount, as indicated in the recipe, is enough for you for a week. After all, dried fruits and hercules are very nutritious - it is enough to eat quite a bit to recharge your batteries.
How to cook Dried fruit bars
Step 1
Remove pits from dates. If dates are hard, pour 2/3 cup of hot water over them and let sit for 30 minutes. If soft - 1/2 cup for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Pour raisins and dried apricots separately with hot water and leave for 10 minutes. Then drain the water, dry the dried fruits.
Step 3
Put the dates together with the liquid in a blender, add honey and grind into a paste, transfer to a saucepan with a thick bottom, add apple juice and cinnamon, bring to a boil and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 2 minutes. Let it cool down a bit.
Step 4
Spread the oats in an even layer on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C until golden brown, 10–12 minutes.
Step 5
Finely chop nuts, peaches and dried apricots, mix with cereal, add raisins and cherries.
Step 6
Add the date paste to the oat-nut mixture, mix thoroughly.
Step 7
Put the resulting mixture on a baking sheet covered with oiled parchment, smooth with a wet knife or spatula and cover with parchment on top too. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Let cool slightly, 10 minutes, and cut into about 30 pieces. Let them cool completely, 30 minutes, and wrap each in cling film, parchment, or foil.
