Honey spread with oranges and lemons

Prepare more of this spread - it is healthy, it is great to serve it for breakfast at least every day.

Ingredients

  • 2 thin-skinned oranges
  • 2 thin-skinned lemons
  • 200 g flower honey
  • salt

Cooking

Step 1

Wash lemons and oranges with a brush, put in a saucepan, cover with cold water, add a pinch of salt, cover with a plate so that the citrus fruits are under water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove the citrus fruits from the boiling water (no decoction is needed), put on a board and cool. Cut first into circles, then into small pieces. Save the juice that comes out. Heat honey and drained citrus juice in a saucepan, add citrus pieces.

Step 3

Bring to a boil over low heat and simmer, stirring, for 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
