Dessert from curdled milk with honey and vanilla

Yogurt dessert with honey is a quick breakfast or a great dinner.

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • 700–800 g thick curdled milk
  • 2 tbsp. l. honey + honey for serving
  • 1-2 tbsp. l. sugar, mixed with the seeds of a quarter of a vanilla pod
  • seasonal berries and fruits for serving

Cooking

Step 1

Line the bowl with a large kitchen towel (ideally a waffle towel) or 5-6 layers of cheesecloth.

Step 2

Mix yogurt with honey and vanilla sugar until smooth and spread on a cloth. Pick up the ends of the towel/gauze and tie them together to form a "pouch". Hang it over a bowl to drain liquid for 2-8 hours. The longer it hangs, the thicker the curdled milk will become.

Step 3

Put the weighed curdled milk in bowls, pour over with honey, serve with berries or fruits.
