How to cook Vegetable cake Parmentier

Step 1

Boil potatoes, mash, grind and mash. Cut the rest of the vegetables into slices and, in turn, lightly simmer in vegetable oil in a frying pan.

Step 2

Cool puree. Place vegetables on paper towel to remove excess oil.

Step 3

We take a removable form for the cake. We lay it on the bottom layer and compact the puree tightly. On top of it - a layer of zucchini, then - a layer of mashed potatoes, on it - eggplants, on them - a layer of mashed potatoes.

Step 4

The next layer is the decoration of our cake: we mix up yellow pepper rings and red tomatoes mixed one after another.

Step 5

Then we form the top of the cake, which will be slightly smaller in diameter. We put potato chips on it in a circle, and put pesto sauce in the center.

Step 6

Sprinkle the resulting cake with herbs. Let it stand for about an hour in a removable form. Then remove the form and serve the dish slightly warm to the table!

Step 7

Our Vegetarian Parmentier French Cake is ready!
