How to cook Traditional Australian kangaroo pie
Step 1
Saute minced meat with onions until brown. Add broth, green peas, tomato sauce and seasonings. Mix and simmer for 10 minutes. To thicken the mixture, add flour and set aside.

Lubricate the baking dish, put a layer of regular dough in it. Moisten the edges of the dough with water, put the chilled meat mixture on top of the dough. Put the puff pastry on top and, pressing lightly, glue the top and bottom cake along the edges.

Beat the yolk and white of 1 egg and brush the dough on top. Make an incision in the center of the top cake.
Step 4
Bake the cakes for 10 minutes at 230°C. Then reduce the temperature to 180°C. Bake another 30 minutes. Decorate the pie with tomato sauce and chutney.
