Blueberry juice

Cookinero 24 Jan 2023

When preparing fruit drinks, the berries are subjected to minimal heat treatment, and they retain most of the nutrients.

How to cook Blueberry juice

Step 1

Sort the berries, rinse thoroughly, put on paper napkins and let them dry. Pour the blueberries into a fine sieve and rub, collecting the juice in a bowl. Wrap the remaining pulp in several layers of gauze and squeeze out the juice.

Step 2

Put the pulp in a saucepan, pour hot water over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cook for 10 minutes. Strain the broth through a sieve or gauze.

Step 3

Add sugar to the hot broth, stir until completely dissolved. Let cool, add squeezed juice.

Before serving, you can dilute the fruit drink with mineral water to taste. Add sugar if necessary.
