Pea soup with sausages

Our pea soup with sausages is interesting because it is cooked not on the stove, but in the microwave. Agree: we most often use it only in the heating mode, and simply ignore the rest of the functions. And this is fundamentally wrong! Modern microwave ovens can not only cook and fry, but also bake. Moreover, the result usually upsets no one! So we decided to give you a recipe for pea soup with sausages, which practically does not require “fire”, therefore it is especially suitable for cooking in the summer, when you don’t feel like standing at the stove for hours.

Ingredients

Servings 4 servings
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • boiled smoked loin - 100 g
  • medium-sized potatoes - 4 pcs.
  • medium-sized carrots - 1 pc.
  • meat broth - 600 ml
  • sausages - 4 pcs.
  • anchovies - 2 pcs.
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l.
  • frozen green peas - 300 g
  • white bread - 300 g
  • salt - to taste

Cooking

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the pea soup with sausages. Peel the onion and finely chop. Cut the loin into cubes with a side of 1 cm, then place with onions in a large saucepan.

Step 2

Place the saucepan with the prepared pea soup ingredients over low heat. Stirring, cook for 3 minutes, making sure that the onion and loin do not burn.

Step 3

Peel potatoes and carrots for pea soup and wash thoroughly. Cut into small cubes. Add to the bowl with the onion loin and pour over the hot broth. Boil 7 minutes.

Step 4

Cut sausages and sausages for soup into circles. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil over high heat. Add sausages and sausages, fry until golden brown.

Step 5

Transfer the sausages and sausages to a bowl with the rest of the soup ingredients. Add peas, salt and pepper to taste. Microwave for 12 minutes at 70% power.

Step 6

While the pea soup is being prepared, cut off the crust from the bread, cut the crumb into small cubes. Fry in a skillet for 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

Step 7

Pour hot pea soup with sausages into serving bowls. Sprinkle with cooked croutons and serve immediately. You can decorate with fresh herbs.
