Nut cookies "Snowballs"
What is New Year? It's snow, blizzard, ice skating, snowball fights... Let's play delicious nutty snowball fights with our kids?
Ingredients
Servings 10- sifted wheat flour - 340 g
- corn starch (if you do not put starch, then replace it with a similar amount of flour) - 30 g
- butter (room temperature) - 250 g
- powdered sugar (100 g for deboning, 100 g for dough) - 200 g
- nut essence (if any)
- ground nuts (I have walnuts in half with almonds) - 110 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- candied citrus fruits (or grated zest - 1 tsp) - 3 tbsp. l.
Cooking
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, about 5 minutes. Grind the nuts in a coffee grinder, pour into the oil. Sift flour with baking powder and cornstarch. Pour into the dough, stir and add candied fruits or zest.
Step 2
Separate the dough the size of a large walnut, lay on baking paper at a distance from each other - they will slightly inflate when baking. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Take out, carefully place in a container with powder and roll hot in powder.
Step 3
It is best to stack not on top of each other, but in one layer to avoid shedding powder from the cookies. You can put each other on top of each other if you immediately serve tea in a vase.
