Oatmeal with nuts

You can start the day with such jelly, or you can satisfy your hunger with it between two meals - it is both satisfying and light at the same time.

Ingredients

Servings 2
  • oatmeal - 1 cup
  • water - 1.5 cups
  • salt - to taste
  • sugar, nuts, raisins for serving

Cooking

Step 1

Pour a glass of oatmeal with water and leave for 12 hours at room temperature.

Step 2

Strain the resulting mixture through a fine sieve or gauze and put on fire, add salt to taste. Cook for about 10 min. from the moment of boiling, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Pour the jelly into glasses or cups, put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Serve chilled, seasoned with sugar, chopped nuts, raisins.
