Tomato salad with Thai style dressing

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • 4-5 ripe Uzbek tomatoes
  • 2-3 kumato tomatoes
  • 1 red Crimean onion
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 10 g lime zest
  • 100 ml vegetable oil
  • 50-70 gr adjika
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 0.5 tsp fine sugar

Cooking

Step 1

Combine all dressing ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2

Peel the onion, cut into thin slices, put in ice-cold salted water for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Cut the tomatoes into large slices.

Step 4

Dry the onion in a towel and mix with the tomatoes. Drizzle with dressing, stir, sprinkle with zest and black pepper, serve immediately. We recommend serving this salad with toasted bread.
