Spetsofai (stew with sausages and pork)
Ingredients
Servings 6 servings- onion - 1 large onion
- 1 small eggplant
- a tomato
- 250 g spicy sausages
- sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- garlic - 6 cloves
- 0.5 kg pork
- 6 Art. l. olive oil
Cooking
Step 1
Pork and sausages cut into small pieces, deep-fried until golden brown. Saute diced eggplants, peppers and onions in olive oil for 4-5 minutes. Mix vegetables, sausages and pork, add chopped garlic, tomatoes and 2 cups of water. Simmer covered for 40 minutes, season at the end.
