Salad with bacon, croutons and pine nuts

Crispy croutons, toasted bacon, pine nuts and a spicy dressing make for a mind-blowing salad.

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • bacon 6 pcs.
  • pine nuts 2 tbsp. l.
  • baguette 1/2 pc.
  • onion 1 pc.
  • mustard 2 tsp.
  • olive oil 4 tbsp. l.
  • leaf lettuce 1 pc.
  • balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
  • salt, sugar

Cooking

Step 1

Cut the onion into rings, put in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and sugar, marinate in vinegar, you can add a little water. Leave for 10 min.

Step 2

Pour a little oil into a preheated pan, fry thinly sliced bacon.

Step 3

Add nuts, fry 1 min. Remove the bacon and nuts with a slotted spoon and transfer to a separate plate.

Step 4

Fry the sliced baguette on both sides in a frying pan.

Step 5

For dressing, take a couple of tablespoons of onion marinade, add oil, salt, pepper, mustard.

Step 6

Combine everything in a large salad bowl, gently mix with your hands. Enjoy your meal!
