Muffins with cherries

These muffins with cherries are perfect for morning coffee or tea.

Ingredients

Servings 24 pieces
  • 380-400 g flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 h. l. year
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 art. l. melted butter
  • 1.5 cups sour cream
  • 1 st. l. vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups pitted cherries

Cooking

Step 1

Preheat oven to 175°C. Line muffin tins with paper liners or grease muffin tins.

Step 2

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together into a large bowl and set aside.

Step 3

In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar, add butter, sour cream and vanilla extract and mix well.

Step 4

Add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture and quickly knead the dough. Gently stir in 1 cup cherries.

Step 5

Divide the dough into molds. Chop the remaining cherries and sprinkle over the muffins. Bake for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the molds Leave the finished muffins in the molds for 5 minutes, then remove and cool on a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
