Lean cabbage rolls and stuffed dried peppers
Ingredients
- 400 g of carrots
- 400 g onion
- 1 kg boiled rice
- bay leaf (small)
- 5 st. l. sunflower oil
- 3 cups broth
- 1 kg cabbage leaves
- 8 dried sweet peppers
Cooking
Step 1
Soak peppers for 1 hour in cold water.
Step 2
Dip the cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for 5-7 minutes, put in a colander and pour over with cold water.
Step 3
Chop the onion and fry until soft. Grate the carrots, add to the onion. Fry for 10 minutes, add rice. Season with salt, pepper, add bay leaf, simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Chill the minced meat. Fill the peppers with half of it, put them in a shallow ceramic bowl, add a glass of broth and bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 220 ° C.
Step 5
Spread the remaining minced meat over the cabbage leaves. Fold them into envelopes, put them in a saucepan, pour over the broth and simmer for 2 hours.
