Keta Sandwich with Honey Mustard Sauce

  • wheat bread - 2 slices
  • keta - 100 gr
  • cream cheese (Hohland) - 1-2 slices
  • lettuce leaf - 1 pc.
  • tomato - 2 slices
  • red onion - 3 large rings
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • lemon - a quarter of a small fruit
  • salt
  • pepper mix
  • soy sauce
  • rice vinegar
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp. l.
  • mayonnaise - 2 tsp. l.
  • French mustard - 2 tsp
  • honey - to taste
  • cilantro, basil

Cooking

Step 1

Let's prepare the fish for the oven. Marinate the salmon in soy sauce, mitsukan rice vinegar, adding pepper and salt to taste.

Step 2

Separately marinate red onion in rice vinegar.

Step 3

We place the pickled salmon in foil, adding a lemon and two cloves of garlic, making several cuts on them. Close this bag and bake in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes at 180°C.

Step 4

Let's prepare the sauce for the sandwich: mix mayonnaise and sweet mustard in a ratio of 1:1, adding a little lemon juice, honey and Italian herbs (cilantro and basil).

Step 5

Assembly and styling! Grate lightly toasted buns with finely chopped or grated garlic and brush a little with olive oil. Put a lettuce leaf on the bun, top with sweet honey-mustard sauce, fish, cover it with cheese, tomatoes and onion, and only then with the second piece of crispy bread.
