Hot sandwich with tuna

Ingredients

Servings 6
  • 6 slices Hercules Cereal Bread
  • 170 g canned tuna in own juice
  • 1 small sour apple
  • ½ red onion
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • ½ red sweet pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 60 g homemade mayonnaise
  • 115 g hard cheese

Cooking

Step 1

Drain the juice from the tuna, mash the fish with a fork. Cut the apple, onion and red pepper into small cubes. Mix with capers, tuna, lemon juice, mustard and mayonnaise.

Step 2

Spread the salad on 6 slices of bread, cover with thin slices of cheese.

Step 3

Put the bread in the pan, put on moderate heat. Close the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted. Or bake a sandwich in the oven.
