Grilled mackerel with cumin

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • 4 small mackerels, headless
  • 1 tbsp. Adjikas
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • salt
  • 1 lemon and herbs for serving

Cooking

Step 1

On both sides of the fish, make 2-3 diagonal cuts.

Step 2

In a spacious bowl, mix adjika with 3 tbsp. water, vegetable oil, minced garlic, cumin and salt.

Step 3

Place the fish in the marinade, stir and marinate for 15 minutes. During this time, turn the fish over once.

Step 4

Grill the mackerel for 7-8 minutes on each side. Serve on a bed of greens with a lemon cut into 8 pieces.
