Eggplant salad with ginger

Steamed eggplant with a spicy dressing of fragrant sesame oil and spices.

Ingredients

Servings 4
  • eggplant 500 g
  • sesame oil 2 tbsp. l.
  • chili sauce 1 tsp
  • garlic 4 cloves
  • ginger - 1 piece
  • green onion 3 stalks
  • soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
  • sugar 1 tbsp. l.
  • rice vinegar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking

Step 1

Eggplant cut into cubes, put in a double boiler, cook for 20-30 minutes. until soft.

Step 2

Finely grate the ginger, finely chop the green onion. Place a small skillet over medium heat, stir in sesame oil and add chili sauce. Fry the ginger, crush the garlic. Add sugar, onion, vinegar and soy sauce. Cook 1 min.

Step 3

Pour eggplant with hot sauce, mix. Enjoy your meal!
