Easter muffins made from buckwheat flour with dried fruits and nuts
Buckwheat flour muffins with dried fruits, dried cherries, almonds and apple. Decorated with orange icing.
Ingredients
Servings 8- softened butter - 225 g
- fine sugar - 200 g
- ground almonds - 150 g
- buckwheat flour - 100 g
- ground cinnamon, cardamom, cloves - 1 tsp.
- baking powder - 1.5 tsp
- salt - a pinch
- zest and juice of 1 orange
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- dried apricots, prunes - 175 g
- dried cherries (or cranberries) - 50 g
- apple - 1 pc.
- powdered sugar - 100 g
Cooking
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat butter with sugar with a mixer. Mix the sifted flour, almonds, spices, baking powder and salt. Pour into a bowl. Add zest and 3 tbsp. orange juice.
Step 2
Enter eggs. Add chopped dried fruits and grated apple. Mix. Divide the dough into molds and bake for 30-40 minutes until done. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick. Cool down. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 3
For the glaze, pour the powdered sugar into a bowl and gradually add the orange juice in small portions, stirring, until the desired consistency is obtained. Decorate muffins with icing, you can draw crosses. Enjoy your meal!
