Cuban sandwich
Ingredients
Servings 4- 8 slices Hercules Bran Bread
- 30 g butter
- 30 g mustard with grains
- 200 g ham
- 200 g Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
- 200 g ham
- 8 small pickled cucumbers
Cooking
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 C.
Step 2
Cut the ham and pork into thin slices. Cut pickled cucumbers into thin diagonal slices.
Step 3
Grease half of the slices of bread with butter, the other half with mustard. Place ham, cheese, boiled pork and pickled cucumbers on half of the bread. Close the bread with the mustard down.
Step 4
Place the sandwiches in a large cast iron skillet with a heavy skillet on top. Place the structure in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the sandwiches are hot and the cheese is melted.
