Cottage cheese with strawberry-basil cream
Ingredients
Servings 2-3- 250 g farm cottage cheese (preferably not grainy)
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml fat sour cream
- 2 sprigs of basil
- 150 g strawberries, plus more for sauce
- juice of 1 large orange
- 1 st. l. Teddy bear
Cooking
Step 1
Mix cottage cheese, cream and sour cream.
Step 2
For the sauce: Remove basil leaves from stems and finely chop. Cut 3-4 large strawberries into small cubes. Mix the remaining strawberries with basil, orange juice and honey. Puree with a blender. Add strawberry pieces and stir.
Step 3
Divide cottage cheese with cream among bowls, pour over strawberry sauce and serve.
