Cottage cheese dumplings

For dumplings, it is best to take dry crumbly cottage cheese, ideally homemade. If you buy cottage cheese in a store, squeeze it well before cooking.

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese - 1 kg
  • flour - 1 kg
  • large egg - 3 pcs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • salt

Cooking

Step 1

Mix cottage cheese, flour and eggs. Roll out the mass in the form of sausages and cut into pieces with a knife.

Step 2

Boil in salted water until all dumplings float to the top. Throw on a sieve, let the water drain, put in a wide form or pan, pour over with fresh sour cream and bake.
