Cottage cheese casserole with cheese and herbs
Who said cottage cheese casserole has to be sweet? It may well be salty. And even sharp. Cottage cheese goes well with herbs and garlic, for example.
Ingredients
Servings 8 servings- 500 g homemade cottage cheese
- green onion - 1 bunch
- salt
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- breadcrumbs or semolina
- 200 g hard cheese
- egg - 4 pcs
- garlic - 2 cloves
- cilantro
- 1 h. l. peppers
- butter - 2 tbsp.
Cooking
Step 1
Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve. Cheese grate on a fine grater. Finely chop greens with garlic.
Step 2
Mix cottage cheese with cheese and herbs, add pounded white yolks, cayenne and black pepper, paprika.
Step 3
Beat the whites with salt until stiff and gently fold into the curd mass.
Step 4
Grease soufflé molds with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put the mass in them and bake in an oven preheated to 200ºС until browned, 15–20 minutes. Serve with green salad.
