Chicken Caprese

A popular dish of European cuisine is great for baking in the oven. Oregano and balsamic vinegar add a special piquancy to this dish.

Ingredients

Servings 1
  • chicken breast 125 g
  • low-fat mozzarella 150 g
  • tomatoes 1.5 pcs.
  • dried oregano 0.5 tsp
  • olive oil 4 tsp
  • balsamic vinegar 3 tsp. l.

Cooking

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Step 2

Lubricate the baking dish with 2 tsp. olive oil. Place the chicken breast in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cut the mozzarella and tomatoes into slices and put on top of the chicken. Add oregano, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Step 4

Bake on medium for about 25 minutes.
