Cherry tomatoes fried with sage and garlic

Ingredients

Servings 2–3
  • 30 cherry tomatoes
  • 2-3 st. l. olive oil
  • 5-7 garlic cloves, peeled and cut in half
  • salt
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh sage

Cooking

Step 1

Make a shallow cross cut on the cherry tomatoes. Lower them for 30-40 seconds. into boiling water, remove with a slotted spoon. Remove skin. Heat oil in a frying pan, add tomatoes, garlic and sage. Season lightly with salt. Fry over high heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve hot. BTW This is the perfect side dish for poultry dishes.
