Armenian soup Vospnapur in a slow cooker

Ingredients

  • red lentils - 4 tbsp. l.
  • rice - 4 tbsp. l.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml
  • raisins - 1/2 tbsp.
  • walnuts - 5-6 pcs.
  • black peppercorns - 3-4 pcs.
  • salt - to taste
  • greens (cilantro, parsley) - 1 bunch
  • water - 1 l

Cooking

Step 1

Rinse lentils and rice. Peel the onion and chop finely. Rinse raisins.

Step 2

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until golden brown, then add the raisins, chopped walnuts and fry for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Put the lentils and rice, the fried mixture of onions, raisins and nuts into the multicooker bowl. Pour in 1 liter. water, add pepper, salt. Bake in the "Cooking" mode for 40 minutes. Before serving, add finely chopped greens.
