Young cabbage salad with carrots

Salad keeps well in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. This is very convenient if you are planning, for example, to prepare a festive table. In this case, you can season the cabbage salad immediately before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 small early cabbage
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 5 green onions
  • 1 small bunch mint
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1-2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice

Cooking

Step 1

Finely chop the cabbage. Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater. Finely chop the green onion and mint leaves.

Step 2

For dressing, mix mayonnaise with lemon juice and zira, if necessary, add a little sugar.

Step 3

Mix cabbage, carrots and green onions and dress the salad, salt and pepper. Before serving, add mint to the salad and mix.
